Having grown up in the area, I attended and graduated from Grand Bay High where I met my husband Steve, who is now a state conservation officer.  We have been married for fourteen years now and have a son, Ethan, and a daughter, Peyton. 

Outside of the classroom, I stay very busy with lots of activities.  Sports are a huge part of my life, especially football (GO JAGS! & ROLL TIDE!), volleyball, horse-back riding, and most recently soccer.  Also, I have had my own motorcycle for 2-3 years now, and really enjoy any time I can get out on winding back roads.  I love to travel whenever I can, and since I spend so much of my time out-and-about, a camera stays pretty handy for capturing those perfect moments.  While candids and portraits are what I usually end up taking, my passion for photography is truly satisfied when shooting landscapes and architecture.
