Alma Bryant High School Youth Activist Coalition (Y.A.C.)

      The Alma Bryant High School Youth Activist Coalition (Y.A.C.) participated in two recent charity events.  Several students participated in the "Step Out Walk to Fight Diabetes" 5K at Mobile's Langan Park on October 17th, 2009, and also raised $552.00 for the American Diabetes Association.  The Y.A.C. members also participated in the "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" 5 Mile Walk on October 24th, 2009.  Y.A.C. faculty sponsor, Tina Miracle, would like to thank each student who makes time to support the various causes in our community by giving up free time to raise awareness.
