The theme of Alma Bryant's Homecoming Week, to be held September 28th - October 3rd, is "The Perfect Storm." Homecoming Week is sponsored by the Student Government Association and Mrs. Marcy Miller.
Students are encouraged to show their spirit by dressing according to the day's theme.

•· Tuesday, 9/29 - Opposites Day
•· Wednesday, 9/30 - Nerd Day
•· Thursday, 10/1 - 80's Day
•· Friday, 10/2 - Cane Pride (blue and white) Day
[NO jeans (except on Friday), ball caps, flip-flops, tank tops, or bare midriff are allowed. Other hats are O.K. if relative to costume. Crocs are O.K. Any shorts or skirts should be at least knee-length; if they are not knee-length leggings have to be worn underneath.]
On Thursday, October 1st, our 4th Annual Homecoming Parade will be held between 1st and 2nd Blocks, the annual Car Show will be held during 3rd Block (registration forms for the competition and non-competition categories can be picked up in G-4 or G-5), and the Homecoming Bonfire will be behind the visitors' bleachers at 7:00 p.m.
We play MGM High School in the Homecoming Game at 7:00 on Friday, October 2nd. The Homecoming Queen, to be elected during a Senior Assembly on Tuesday, September 29th, will be announced during court presentation at halftime.

Freshman Homecoming Court: SKYE ATHEY, KALEIGH BRANNAN, and JADE STRINGFELLOW
Sophomore Homecoming Court: LEXEY FUSSELL, SHELBY JONES, SUMMER MCGRIFF, and ALI STRINGFELLOW

The Homecoming Dance will be held this year at the Bayou La Batre Community Center on Saturday, October 3rd, from 7:00-11:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 prior to the event and $30 at the door, and may be purchased during lunchwaves outside the cafeteria beginning September 23rd. Outside date (non-Bryant student) forms must be turned in to Mrs. Miller in C-8 by Tuesday, September 29th. Dress for the Homecoming Dance is semi-formal attire. [No jeans or tennis shoes are allowed. Guys should wear dress pants and must wear a tie, but dress coats are optional. Girls should wear cocktail dresses that are not to be revealing or shorter than one inch above the knee. Both guys and girls must wear dress shoes.]
